Chemistry - Ionic & Covalent Bond QUIZ

For your Quiz Grade on Ionic and Covalent Compounds, you need to complete the following 3 tasks. Turn in your answers to tasks 2 and 3 at the end of the period. You can use your notes/work and the periodic table to help you:

1) Get an 80% or better on the Ionic and Covalent Bond Quizlet quiz and show Mr. Cram

2) Draw 2 Ionic and 1 Covalent Lewis Dot Structures. You may choose from the following formula units. Make sure to label each as either an "Ionic Bond" or a "Covalent Bond".

4) What will the charge on the Cu atom be after it gives it's valence electrons away?
5) What will be the charge on each Cl atom after they receive their valence electrons?
