Physics - Light Quiz on Thursday (1/13)!!!
Hey Physters! We have a quiz this Thursday (1/13) on light. It will cover everything we have learned about light. Here are the main topics:
1) Light = Electromagnetic Radiation or Waves
2) All Electromagnetic radiation travels at the same speed (300,000,000 m/s or 3X10^8 m/s), but each of the 7 types of EM radiation have different wavelength, frequency, and energy.
3) Light can behave like a Particle called a photon or a Wave.
4) We see color because of Light. The color we see is reflected into our eyes, while the remaining EM radiation is absorbed.
5) Light can defract (spread out as it passes through an opening), reflect (bounce off surfaces) and refract (bend as it travels through different mediums)
For a great review, check out this website! STUDY!!!!!
